Nida is an architect from India, who has worked in multidisciplinary studios, with projects ranging in the field of urban, architecture, conservation, and interiors. She is interested in research of repurposing existing structures using design as a tool by analyzing its social, political, and environmental impact.



Miranda Goldschmidt

Miranda holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Torcuato Di Tella University in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her current research focuses on the intersection between adaptive reuse, real estate, and housing production in Latin America.



Reem Habis

Reem received her professional degree in Interior Design from Saudi Arabia, and she is a LEED Green Associate since 2018. Her working experience with existing buildings triggered her interest in Adaptive Reuse, which brought her to RISD to extend her knowledge and expertise in the subject.



Mariyam Kherodawala

Mariyam, an architect from India, gained experience in multidisciplinary studios focused on adapting existing built environments. Currently, she is exploring the potential of preservation to develop creative and transformative design solutions of historical contexts in contemporary architectural practice.




Simran Mehta

Aaron received his Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Interior Architecture from Auburn University. His research highlights the lingering effects of past policy on minority communities, and how adaptive reuse can begin to address the disparities.

Aishwarya, a graduate in architecture, has prior experience working at an Interior Architecture firm. Her desire lies in the deep search for the question about what role design had to play in nurturing the needs of the minorities and how spaces themselves can help in expedite healing.
